A64 Tatham Desk
An important Regency design carved wood pedestal desk in the manner of Charles Heathcote Tatham. The top is symmetrically divided and leathered. The frieze, of Greek Key, conceals two large secret drawers, which are key operated. The bases being of two seated griffins, a symbol of courage and watchfulness, on low rectangular plinths.Height 788mm (31")
